How does It work?
A refrigerator is an insulated box and contains a storage area surrounded by a closed-circuit system of coils that circulates refrigerant. In simple physics, when a liquid turns into a vapor, it absorbs heat, and when a gas turns into a liquid, it releases heat. A refrigerator consists of condenser coils (either at the back or base), evaporator coils, a compressor, an expansion valve, and refrigerant fluid. The refrigeration system begins by absorbing heat from the inside, and it is then released to the outside.
During the cycle, the compressor moves the refrigerant through the system as it supplies pressure to the warm fluid which heats it, hence turning it into vapor. The vapor will then escape into the condenser coils at the back of the fridge. The vapor travels through the condenser coils and after cooling down, it turns into a fluid again. The fluid then passes through the expansion valve to the evaporator coils. As the refrigerant condenses, it absorbs heat that’s inside the fridge, and as it evaporates, it releases the heat outside the fridge. And the entire cycle continues.
